Printing Services
I love to print! For me, one of my fine art images is not complete until its perfectly printed, matted, framed, and displayed on the wall. I use some of the best photographic equipment currently available so my images are derived from very large files. Each one is meticulously post-processed. Viewing fine art images such as on this website or Facebook or Instagram is very fast and convenient but you won't see the true beauty and nuances of the image until its been professionally printed.
My photos are printed on heavyweight, museum-quality Hahnemühle or Canson fine art paper. Hahnemühle was founded in 1584 and is considered to be the premier paper manufacturer in the world. I use their pure cotton rag paper that produces stunning results with outstanding reproduction of colors and details, deep blacks and perfect contrast. It is also acid- and lignin-free and meets the most exacting requirements in terms of age resistance.
I print using Epson large format printers and only using genuine Epson UltraChrome HDX archival inks.
Please remember, your prints will need to be framed, so consider that extra cost before making your purchase. Generally I don’t sell frames myself for two reasons. They may not survive shipping and if the glass breaks, the print will almost always be scratched and ruined. Secondly I believe framing to be a very subjective choice. You need to choose a frame that will fit your home or office’s decor. I frame all my work using simple solid wood black frames, with slightly off-white museum-quality mats, and UV protective glass. But the best thing you can do is to take your print to a local framing store to get their input and expertise.
